Teceris Promotions to Associate – effective 1 January 2008

John Armstrong

John Armstrong became a member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1986 and The Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters in 1997. He is the Manager of Teceris Midlands and specialises in large property losses including listed buildings. Since joining Teceris in 2006 John has been involved in the development of Valuation Services and the relocation and expansion of our Birmingham office

Julian Carter

Thirteen years ago Julian left the civil engineering industry to become a loss adjuster specialising in the construction & engineering market. A Chartered Quantity Surveyor, he has worked on numerous large and complex construction claims arising out of many high profile projects including the construction of the M6 Toll Road, Devonport Royal Dockyard, the New GCHQ Building and Bank of America. Based at our London Office he is now heavily involved with the continued growth and expansion of the Teceris construction and engineering division.

Sarah Baker

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Sarah joined the loss adjusting profession in 1992. She qualified as a Chartered Loss Adjuster in 1996 winning the Institute Prize en route. Sarah specialises in Business Interruption and account management and has handled numerous multi million pound losses across a variety of industries. In addition to traditional loss adjusting she was an accredited consultant to the United Nations Compensation Commission for the verification and valuation of the claims made by the State of Kuwait against the State of Iraq following the Gulf War and also has extensive experience of Caribbean catastrophe response work. Sarah joined the Birmingham office of Teceris in July 2006.

Rowena Byrne-Jones

Rowena Byrne-Jones qualified as a Chartered Loss Adjuster in 2002 and is also an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. She specialises in complex liability claims and has been involved in numerous high profile/major losses including product contamination and recall, catastrophic personal injury and multiple fatality cases both in the UK and Europe. Rowena joined Teceris in 2007 as Head of Complex Liability and is based in our London office. Rowena continues to lecture widely on technical and procedural liability related industry developments

John Halford

John Halford qualified as a Chartered Loss Adjuster in 1985, after previously qualifying as an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute. He has always focused on the professional role of the Adjuster, with regular involvement in multi-million pound losses and long experience as a major loss team leader. He has come to specialise in the management of accounts, including a number of the UK's leading property investors, retailers and print and media corporations. John has worked from London since 1977 and he has been part of Teceris since its inception.

Luke Exford

Luke Exford qualified as a Chartered Loss Adjuster in 1999. He is also a Chartered Quantity Surveyor becoming a member of the RICS in 1988. He specialises in property and construction claims and has been involved in numerous high profile major losses. Luke manages several blue chip property accounts and has been with the company since 1998 based in London office. Luke sits on the Council of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters and is currently Chairman of the Property Special Interest Group.
