42 office-based technicians with a minimum of 5 years experience:

Pragmatic investigation delivers early results

We provide a two tier service for clients, managed by experienced claims technicians:

Stage One
Immediate post-loss enquiries to validate whether the claim can be settled or requires further investigation.
Interview with policyholder and/ or last user of the vehicle
Single page report issued covering:

 Policyholder/driver and assessment of credibility
 Indemnity and any possible breach of policy conditions or exclusions
 Circumstances of loss
 Vehicle history and any enquiries already undertaken in this respect
 Documentation – if available at this stage
 Police – we will routinely contact the Police to verify the loss report

Our recommendations

Stage Two
Detailed enquiries into high risk cases identified and agreed with clients. A specialist fraud case manager will manage the enquiries which may include:

 Detailed background/intelligence checks in respect of individuals involved. Obtain copy Police Crime Report and DVLA vehicle history.
 Interviews with witnesses, alibi’s, garages, previous keepers and vendors.
 Enquiries at the loss location, to include sketch plans and photographs, ‘door to door’ enquiries.
 Specific interviews to be conducted by specialist fraud investigators regarding areas of concern
