Teceris  is a multi-disciplinary Loss Adjusting (Teceris Corporate & Complex Adjusting) and Desktop Claims handling practice (Teceris Claims Management).

The business was launched in May 2005 and can trace its origins from the Complex and Major Loss Division of McLarens Toplis’ UK practice. Our personnel represent a strong concentration of industry names whose reputations have been developed in the UK insurance and claims marketplace over the last 30 years.

In November 2007, following the acquisition of CMGL, the live corporate claims book was integrated with the wider Teceris team as Teceris Claims Management, to form a comprehensive and seamless end to end claims service. Teceris now covers all aspects of corporate claims handling spanning volume liability ‘trip and slip’ claims up to complex multi-million pound Property, Business Interruption, Construction and Liability claims.

Ownership by Capita provides us with the security associated with a FTSE 100 company whilst leaving the Partners with strategic, operational and financial control of the business.

Teceris Corporate & Complex Adjusting (TCCA)

TCCA focuses exclusively on the commercial insurance sector, with a particular emphasis on corporate account management, higher value and more complex property, financial lines, construction and engineering and liability claims.

The Partners are all leading industry practitioners. We have 80 professional staff operating from 5 offices, providing a network of expertise across the UK.

Our Corporate Account loss adjusting assignments are undertaken within the framework of insurance programmes where we are pre-nominated and we have established working practices that seek to leverage maximum benefits for all those who participate in those programmes – Insurers, Brokers and Insured alike.

Many of the accounts on which we are nominated carry overseas exposure. Teceris is the sole UK representative of the prestigious VRS Universe global adjusting partnership which provides services through 310 offices in 69 countries. Its member companies represent a major force in their respective territories and the international loss market.

The model we have adopted is one of a practitioner-led professional business. The majority of our adjusters are CILA qualified and many are qualified in other disciplines – Accountancy, Surveying, Engineering and the like. The age profile reflects the maturity of the individuals who have, on average, more than 20 years experience in the profession.

We adopt a licensing system for handling major loss work, which sees only accredited staff assigned to that work and we believe the depth of our major loss capability and our working practices are the envy of the UK adjusting profession.

Our strategy in Loss Adjusting, is to make Teceris the Employer of Choice and Supplier of Choice for Claims Professionals.

Teceris Claims Management specialises in the provision of Desktop Claims Handling for clients ranging from small and medium sized enterprises, to FTSE listed corporations with claims emanating worldwide. TCM is highly experienced in the handling and management of insurance claims and the provision of insurance claims handling services. The desk-top handling approach encourages the most efficient settlement process is employed for each scenario, ensuring that services such as site investigation are employed as and when required but not as a matter of course.

Claims need to be handled sensitively and fairly and must recognise the importance of protecting corporate brand and reputation. Expert claims handling can add real value by ensuring relationships with the client’s customer base are professionally and efficiently maintained, and as a result endorsing and enhancing brand.
